The Most Astounding Fact
accroding to the narration by neil deGrasse Tyson
(The images below are not totally scientific accurate and only for self experiment purpose)
TIME interviewer asked Tyson :
Intro Animation for the design series
above texture : Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh,The School of Athens by Raphael,NASA Planet Texture,Abraham Ortelius Earth Map 1570,Martin Vargic 's Map art of 1938 world map(used with permission)
Tyson: The most astounding fact..
is the knowledge
I'm taking Compass-and-straightedge way of drawing two ovals to design the way of knowledge the planet and the universe .
that the atoms
the image is showing an imaginary atom ,and its probability of finding any electron of an atom in any specific region around the atom's nucleus.the color warmer the probability higher. (This is not scientific accurate,I added some fantasy in it.)
comprise life on earth
the atoms that pick up the human body
I referred to some slime mould structures , it represents energy and information connection ,made with X-Particles
Cell structures , made with TurbulenceFD
glowing murshrooms
are traceable to the crucibles
Try to make a big crucible , the single hue refers to several light elements
that cooked light elements into heavy elements in their core
they are cooked into lots of elements
under extreme temperatures and pressures
These stars,
each glass ball holds a nebula
the high mass ones among them,
went unstable in their later years. They collapsed and then exploded,
scattering their enriched guts across the galaxy
Guts made of carbon
Diamond ,the most beautiful state of carbon
nitrogen
in a vapor water contained bottle , nitrogen is lightninged by high vault electricity
oxygen
Liquid oxygen shows lightbule color
and all the fundamental ingredients of life itself
try to combine the nebula with ocean ,a whale to add some vitality
These ingredients become part of gas clouds
that condense, collapse, form the next generation of solar systems stars with orbiting planets
and those planets now have ingredients for life itself
So that when I look up at the night sky
and I know that yes, we are part of this universe
we are in this universe
but perhaps more important than both of those facts
is that the universe is in us.
is that the universe is in us.
When I reflect on that fact,
I look up. Many people feel small, because they’re small and the universe is big, but I feel big
because my atoms, came from those stars
There is a level of connectivity. That’s really what you want in life, you want to feel connected,
you want to feel relevant. You want to feel like
you’re a participant in the goings on of activities and events around you.
That’s precisely what we are, just by being alive.
